For sure, the name Poodle comes from the German word pudel. The breed was known to splash around in the water as it’s a great swimmer. The name could be evidence that the Poodle is a German breed. On the other hand, France certainly has popularized the dog.

This mix is the ultimate Poodle mix if you’re looking for a lap dog. They are perfectly sized for lounging and are fiercely loyal. Their Pekingese parentage might be a little too protective.
